The wedding that I photographed at the Grand Lake Lodge last week on June 21st, 2019, just before the start of the summer, is one of my favorite weddings that I have ever photographed!! This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Grand Lake Lodge, and first time seeing the lodge, and I must say, the property and the views of Grand Lake are STUNNING! This is by far one of my favorite wedding locations in Colorado! If you want gorgeous views of Colorado's largest natural lake as your wedding backdrop, in the quaint and laid back country town of Colorado, then the Grand Lake Lodge is the wedding venue for you (along with lots of little evergreens filling the walk to the ceremony area, it really is beautiful!!) I have provided their website here for you in case you would like to check them out, click on the weddings option to contact the wedding coordinator.

And back to Caitlin and TV's lovely wedding! Their wedding was very intimate, the bride's mom and dad and sister with there, and along with a couple of other family friends. They were one of the nicest groups of people I have ever photographed, and ever met! TV's parents (from India) could not make the ceremony, and the couple asked me a couple weeks before the ceremony if I could do a simple video of their wedding for TV's parents, and I was happy to provide that for them as well. We started with photos with everyone at the Point Park, directly located on the Grand Lake, with gorgeous mountain views, and then we headed straight to the ceremony that took place at the Grand Lake Lodge, overlooking the beautiful Grand Lake. :) As I got some photographs of just Caitlin and TV after the ceremony, the mom then invited my fiance and I to join them for dinner and drinks at the Huntington House Tavern, which is the lodge's only restaurant, of course with beautiful views overlooking THE Grand Lake. I got to capture some special moments at the dinner of them and some of the toasts that they did after dinner in the common area of the Lodge. It was just such a beautiful wedding and the perfect cloudy day for photos; the rain went away just for them, just in time for photos! Can you see how much they love eachother in the photos?!
