On January 19, 2019, David and Sara got married at Chief Hosa Lodge, in Golden, Colorado. This was my first time ever photographing a wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge, and it was so much fun photographing this adorable couple. This was one of the cutest ceremonies I have ever seen, just because you could tell how much David and Sara love each other just by the way they were looking at each other during the ceremony. I am typically so focused on photographing all of the key moments during the ceremony, and I still was, but I couldn't help but be drawn into the mood and the endearing looks that the couple were giving each other. I arrived at noon and Sara and David weren't getting ready yet, so I started with taking photos of the table decorations and their cake, etc inside of the Chief Hosa Lodge, and then when Sara the bride was getting ready in the cozy little bridal room, I got photos of her putting on her beautiful white dress with her mom and other family members there. I got a few photos upstairs David the groom upstairs while he was putting on his tuxedo and then the ceremony took place in the side room at the Chief Hosa Lodge. It was a cold day in January with snow on the ground, so we just got some quick photos of the bride and groom outside on the porch of Chief Hosa Lodge, it was a beautiful setting for outdoor photos, and it was cloudy, which made for great photos! We then came back inside Chief Hosa Lodge and I got more family photos, and then I then took a bunch of candids of the guests (it was a small wedding of about 70 guests), the bride and groom dancing, and at the end we went to the beautiful lookout spot showing the mountains in the background to get photos before I was done photographing for the day. Looking back at their wedding photos, I just can't get over how cute David and Sara were together that special day at Chief Hosa Lodge. I feel so honored to have been chosen as their wedding photographer for their lovely wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge, in Golden, Colorado.
